Kodakara : Sahrdaya Institute of Management Studies, Kodakara, has organized an International Conference on Management Research focusing on Innovation and sustainability, named ICMRS’24, on June 6 and 7. The event was inaugurated by the Executive Vice President of ESAF Bank, Dr. George Thomas. Dr. Justin Paul, Provost and Dean of NMIMS, Mumbai, Dr. J. Clement Sudhakar, Dean and Professor at Karunya University School of Management, Coimbatore provided insights on the practical aspects of research in their guest of honour speech. A notable highlight of the conference was the 'Meet the Editors-in-Chief' session, wherein the chief editors of the five world's most prestigious journals, including the International Journal of Consumer Studies and Human Resource Management, has shared their editorial processes and discussed the latest trends in their respective area. Dr. C. Rajendran, Professor at the Department of Management Studies, IIT Madras, shared insights on how to achieve excellence in research work during the keynote session on June 7. The conference was led by SIMS Executive Director Fr. Dr. Jino Johnny Malakkaran, Director Dr. Dhanya Alex, and Research Coordinator Fr. Dr. Binoy Thomas. Educators and research scholars from different countries, including Afghanistan and Morocco, participated in the conference. Over the two-day event, more than 200 research papers were presented, highlighting the extensive and diverse contributions to management research, especially in the area of innovation and sustainability
