Fr.Binoy Thomas is a PhD scholar in the domain of Behavioural Finance and Developmental Economics in VIT Business School, Vellore. He has graduated from Mahatma Gandhi University Kerala as the University 1st Rank Holder. He completed Master of Business Administration (specialisations in Finance & Marketing) from Karunya Institute of Technology & Sciences, Coimbatore. He holds UGC-NET (Management) qualification and teaching experience of five years for Post Graduate Programs and Undergraduate Programs. He holds an academic research experience (full Time) for 3.8 Years in VIT Vellore. He has published seven research articles in Scopus Indexed journals and presented research papers in various international and national level conferences. He has received a Research Award (Certificate of Appreciation) from VIT Vellore for publications in Peer reviewed journals. He has been the Head of the Department of Management Studies in Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies, Thrissur for a period of three years. He has worked in VIT Vellore as Teaching cum Research Assistant for 3 years. He holds industrial internship experience at the Centre for Microfinance (CMF) in Institute for Financial Management and Research (IFMR) in Chennai, India. He has guided 30+ projects at Undergraduate level and 10+ projects at Postgraduate level. He is a resource person for training in the areas of Educational pedagogy, Research Methodology, Communicative English, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. He is also a columnist and career consultant.
