"Prakruthi"- Rural Camp from January 3-5, 2023 - The health awareness camp for tribal communities, organized jointly by the Athirappilly Veettilapaara Family Health Center and the Sahrdaya Institute of Management Studies in Pillapara, Chalakkudy, was inaugurated by Athirappilly Grama Panchayat Vice President Smt. Soumya. Fr. Dr. Jino Johny Mallakaran, Executive Director of the Institute of SIMS, presided over the function. Health Inspectors Shri. Ranjith Gopinath and Smt. Shemina of the Pillerpara Family Health Center conducted classes for the students on the basis of health care of the rural community. Director Dr. Dhanya Alex, Asst. Professor Mr. Noel Wilson, and about 60 students from the college participated in this three-day camp called "Prakruthi'. This rural camp is organized to understand the health problems faced by the rural-tribal community and to create awareness by suggesting remedies.
