Sahrdaya Institute of Management Studies (SIMS), in collaboration with St. James Hospital, Chalakkudy, organized a half-day seminar for neighborhood women titled "Avallkkoppam". The seminar was based on the firm belief that women's health is essential for the family and society. The seminar was inaugurated by Smt. Sandhya Nyson, President of Mala Block Panchayat. Fr. Dr. Jino Johny Mallakkaran, Executive Director of SIMS, presided over the event. Dr. Romsi Mathew and Dr. Celine Arikatu, leading gynecologists from St. James Hospital, enlightened the participants about the importance of women's health for the well-being of the family, society, and herself.
