Dr. Dhanya Alex has more than two decades of post-graduate teaching and research experience in the field of management. She has served as a faculty member at FISAT Business School, Angamaly, Rajagiri Centre for Business Studies, Kochi and Christ University, Bangalore. A certified Data Scientist from ICT Academy, Govt. of Kerala, she has post-graduation in Management and Commerce and a Ph.D. from Cochin University of Science and Technology. Dr.Dhanya Alex is a University First rank holder for her undergraduate programme (University of Calicut) and post-graduate programme (Loyola College, Chennai). She has attended the Teaching Summer School at IIM Calcutta and the FDP at IIM Indore. Dr. Dhanya Alex has received funds from UGC for a minor research project and has published several articles in Scopus-indexed journals and refereed national & international journals. She has three books to her credit. She has presented research papers at various national and international conferences including those organized by IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIM Kozhikode, and IIT Roorkee. She was a visiting International Scholar at Western Michigan University, USA, and Nazareth College, New York, USA. She is a trainer for various programmes NSE, BSE and SEBI offer in financial markets and investor education. Dr. Dhanya Alex is a Member of the Board of Studies of various autonomous colleges in Kerala including Vimala College, Thrissur, and serves as Subject Expert in various academic committees at the University level (KTU). She serves as a Ph.D. external examiner for Anna University and Bharathiar University. She has coordinated NAAC and NBA accreditation processes at various institutions in which she has served and has also served as a member of various administrative bodies including IQAC, admissions committee, examination committee, research committee, and placement committee. Dr. Dhanya Alex has organized International Conferences, MDPs, FDPs, Financial Literacy Extension Programmes, and Financial Markets Training programmes in collaboration with NSE, BSE, and SEBI. She has taken up the roles of an invited speaker, session chair, and resource person for several conferences, workshops and training programmes in prestigious institutions and B-schools in the area of Financial Markets, Research Methodology, and Data Analytics. She is a life member of the Indian Accounting Association (IAA), Indian Society for Training and Development (ISTD), and also a member of the Kerala Management Association (KMA).
