Institutional Accreditations and Rankings
The IQAC at SIMS plays a crucial role in the institution’s participation in various national and international rankings, including NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) and KIRF (Kerala Institutional Ranking Framework). Through meticulous data collection, structured reporting, and continuous monitoring of academic and administrative performance, IQAC ensures that SIMS meets the required benchmarks for excellence. It facilitates:
- Systematic documentation of institutional achievements, research output, faculty credentials, and student performance.
- Benchmarking against top institutions to improve institutional rankings.
- Ensuring continuous quality improvement through periodic self-assessments and action plans.
Additionally, the IQAC spearheads the institution’s preparation for NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) and NBA (National Board of Accreditation) accreditations. The cell is responsible for:
- Compiling the Self-Study Report (SSR) and ensuring compliance with NAAC/NBA quality criteria.
- Conducting regular internal audits and mock assessments to prepare for peer reviews.
- Implementing initiatives for curriculum enrichment, faculty development, and research enhancement to align with accreditation standards.
- Facilitating awareness programs and training sessions to keep stakeholders informed about accreditation requirements.
