The Sahrdaya Institute of Management Studies (SIMS), Kodakara is organizing a Hands-on Workshop on Microsoft Power BI on March 16–17, 2026, at the SIMS Bizlab. This intensive workshop aims to equip students with practical skills in data analytics, data visualization, and business intelligence tools that are widely used in modern organizations.

The two-day program will run from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, providing participants with practical exposure to Power BI dashboard creation, data modeling, report generation, and interactive business analytics.

The workshop will be led by Mr. Joseph Bastian, Head – Office of Corporate Relations, SIMS, and Mr. Edwin Stanley, Research Scholar at Cochin University of Science and Technology. The resource persons will guide students through hands-on exercises, real-time datasets, and industry-oriented case studies to enhance their analytical and decision-making skills.

This Power BI training workshop for management students is designed to help participants understand how organizations convert raw data into meaningful business insights using business intelligence tools.
