Arunanand T A serves as the HR Director (International) at KnowBe4, Inc., where he leads the HR strategy, operations, and employee experience for a high-performing product engineering team. With experience spanning 13 years in the IT industry and more than 10 years in HR leadership, he brings a rare blend of technical expertise and strategic people management, honed through his transition from an engineer to a global HR leader.
At KnowBe4, he has been instrumental in scaling the India team from 22 to over 70 professionals in less than two years while delivering innovative employee experience frameworks. His prior leadership at FullContact, Inc. saw him spearhead the post-acquisition HR integration and lead the India office to achieve Great Place to Work® certification within a short span of time, growing the team from 52 to 162.
Arunanand holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Calicut, and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and Engineering from the College of Engineering, Chengannur. He also holds international HR credentials including the Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR) from HRCI and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
An advocate of modern HR practices, he has led initiatives in performance management, competency frameworks, diversity and inclusion, compensation benchmarking, and culture transformation. He frequently engages in leadership coaching, people development, and is passionate about using HR tech to drive efficiency and impact.
He is a Life Member of the National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM) and contributes to the HR community through thought leadership and mentoring.
