A professor (emeritus) from the government-aided post at Rajagiri College of Social Sciences (Autonomous), Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Dr. Simon Jacob C, holds a PhD in Human Resource Management and Service Operations from CUSAT and is UGC-NET qualified in Management. He has undergone faculty development programs at IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Kozhikode, IIT Kharagpur, and TAPMI, Manipal, along with international exposure through the European Summer Programme (ESP) at the Catholic University of Lille, France. He is a seasoned academician and industry expert with over 19 years of industry experience and 20 years in postgraduate teaching. Dr. Simon is a Certified Recruitment Analyst (CAMI-USA) and a life member of the Indian Society of Labour Economics (ISLE). He is also an enrolled advocate at the High Court of Kerala, adding a legal dimension to his expertise in human resource management, operations management, and business/labor laws. An accomplished researcher, he has received UGC funding for research projects, published extensively in national and international journals, and presented papers at numerous conferences. Additionally, he has held key academic administrative roles, including conference coordinator, controller of examinations, Student Academic Mentor and batch coordinator. With his extensive academic, industry, and legal expertise, Dr. Simon continues to contribute to management education through his research-driven and globally informed approach.
