Scholarships

We are committed to fostering academic excellence and supporting meritorious students in their pursuit of higher education. To encourage and reward outstanding performance, we offer a range of scholarship schemes for both first-year and second-year MBA students. Also, we are happy to help you search for and identify scholarship opportunities from organizations/associations outside of SIMS as well as to assist you with your scholarship applications.

The scholarship schemes at SIMS enable more than 60 percent of the students to receive scholarships each year.

Scholarships for First-Year MBA Students

Scholarships for first-year students are awarded based on (UG) academic merit, entrance examination scores, and overall performance during the admission process. Eligible candidates may avail themselves of financial assistance through the following schemes:

  • Merit-Based Scholarships: Awarded to students who have demonstrated exceptional academic achievements in their undergraduate studies and entrance examinations.
  • Need-Based Scholarships: Designed to support students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder their educational aspirations.
  • Special Scholarships: Offered to students excelling in extracurricular activities, leadership roles, or community service, recognizing their holistic development beyond academics.

Scholarships for Second-Year MBA Students

Second-year students are eligible for scholarships based on their performance during the first year of the MBA program. The criteria for these scholarships include:

  • Academic Excellence Awards: Granted to students securing top ranks in their first-year MBA examinations, rewarding their dedication and scholastic achievements.
  • Leadership and Professional Development Scholarships: Recognizing students who have demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, industry engagement, and contributions to the SIMS community.
  • Financial Assistance for Deserving Students: Available to students who continue to face financial challenges, ensuring uninterrupted academic progress.

    As SIMS has been recognized as one of the top quality higher educational institutions in India, eligible students can avail educational loans under the PM Vidya Lakshmi Scheme with ease and promptness. The scheme offers collateral-free and guarantor-free loans through a simple, transparent, student-friendly, and fully digital application process.
